A lady sews unique dolls for children with special needs

For a child, a doll is the most enjoyable and memorable toy. Imagine
instead if the doll resembled a youngster with special needs.

Amy Yandrisevitz, a citizen of the United States, sews dolls for disabled
children. All of these stuffed animals have an essential mission: to assist
the unique children.

Amy Yandrisewitz, a former social worker, debuted her project “A Doll Like Me”
more than a year ago. Since then, the lady sews and distributes her handmade
gifts to unique children throughout the globe. The dolls owned by Amy possess
the same features as their owners.

Typically, children are fascinated by little versions of themselves. All Amy
dolls serve a vital purpose: demonstrating to the kid that he is unique and
wonderful exactly as he is.

Amy created her first doll almost five years ago, and since then it has been
her primary interest. Amy said, “It may be difficult to convince a youngster
that they are wonderful as they are, but our dolls fill children with
confidence and a feeling of their own individuality.”

The orders placed by Amy are planned over the following two years. She invests
a little of her soul in each doll since for her and the eventual owner,
it is not only a toy.

A lady creates dolls in her own home room. Amy integrates her passions for
children, crafts, and social work with ease.
