Gass is a skier in the free direction. He became known all over the world after he saved 90 dogs in Korea that were on a meat farm. This happened during the Olympics.
“Today Matt and I visited the same dog farm. There are 17 thousand of them in South Korea,” the athlete mentioned on his page on the social network. 2, 5 million dogs are raised in order to be eaten later. Their living conditions are terrible.
Eating dogs in South Korea is considered part of the culture, almost a tradition. This is how Koreans argue this fact. But still, the treatment of dogs in Korea is very cruel and the culture should not justify it. These dogs are no different from those we call pets, despite the fact that some are convinced otherwise. I really want to give them the opportunity to live normally!”
Gass managed to take 90 dogs from the farm to America and Canada, where they found owners. Yet there are still good and kind people in the world! Who are not indifferent to animals and whatever is going on around them, no matter how much they personally are involved in the case. Thanks to Gass for such an example!
