An elephant from the wild comes to see the man who saved her and show her cub to him

It has been almost 20 years since this elephant named Sunyi was found alone in the wild of Africa.

Then she was still a newborn, unfortunately, orphaned after separation from her mother.

But, fortunately, Sunyi was left without parental love and care for a short time.

Sunyi was rescued with the help of animal rights activists at a wildlife park in Kenya.

It was there that she first met Benjamin, the chief keeper of the reserve, who plays the role of the owner and, in fact, replaces the mother for orphaned elephants like her.

“He organizes the daily care and well—being of the orphans, ultimately making sure that they are always happy and healthy,” said Rob Brandford, executive director of the reserve.

Under the supervision of Benjamin, Sunyi grew up happy and healthy, learning from him and other caretakers all the subtleties of how to be an elephant.

In 2009, Sunyi had already become quite independent and therefore left the reserve with the permission of the guardians to live in the wild, her natural environment.

However, as it turned out, despite her free life, she remembered the man who saved and raised her, Benjamin.

“Although it’s been more than a decade since Sunyi decided to return to the wild, it seems she never forgets the kindness shown to her,” Brandford said.

This has never been more obvious than when Sunyi decided to come out of the wild to pay a visit to Benjamin, taking her own cub with her to meet the man who raised her.
