Before his neighbor’s daughter passed away, an 87-year-old man made her 14 thoughtful, heirloom-quality Christmas gifts

A narrative unfolded in a city in Britain that would eventually affect
people all across the globe. Widower Ken Watson, age 87, spent hours in
advance calculating the value of 14 Christmas gifts for a neighbor.

The elderly guy took great joy in seeing tiny Kadi grow into a kind and
kind person. When Kadi’s parents heard about Mr. Watson’s act of kindness,
they were moved to tears.

When the girl’s parents found out that their deceased neighbor had planned
presents for their daughter 13 years in advance, they were devastated.

Barry, a town in South Wales, was the setting for this narrative.
After Ken Watson, a widower in his 87th year, passed away, he gave his
neighbor’s daughter Christmas gifts for the following 13 years.

The guy had the 14 presents all ready and wrapped up before he passed away,
and he had planned for their delivery after his passing.

Kadi, a 2-year-old girl, was the neighbor’s favorite grandchild.
The elderly guy saw the baby grow up and adored her in his own special manner.
Upon hearing about Mr. Watson’s kind act, the girl’s parents immediately began
crying. In short, he was an admirable human being.

“Sadly, a neighbor in his or her eighties lately died away. His daughter dropped
over to see us just now and brought us a hefty box. Kadi’s father posted on
Twitter, “The box held Christmas gifts for our daughter for the next 13 years.”

Mr. Watson’s daughter brought this parcel to our home, and at first I assumed
it was some type of junk,” said the girl’s father, Owen Williams. However,
she later explained that these were gifts for our daughter left by a neighbor
who had just passed away.

Ok, then I contacted his wife and mother in Ireland, and we all started
crying over the video chat.

“I don’t know how long he concealed these presents from us — maybe he gathered
for the previous two years, or maybe he decided to cook before he died,” the guy says.

Mr. Watson, he said, often expressed his desire to outlive his son Kadi by 100 years.

The Watsons just opened Mr. Watson’s first gift to their daughter, a children’s
Christmas book, and have chosen to continue the tradition of giving their daughter
a gift every year until she is sixteen, as was Mr. Watson’s desire.
