Huge Tortoise Gets Out of Pet Shop to Find Girlfriend

A big male spurred turtle got out of a pet store and is now looking for a mate.
He got to where the train tracks were.

The Independent says that a turtle got away from a pet store in Norfolk.
A big male spurred turtle was looking for a mate when a train hit it.
Clyde was last seen at the East Harline Swallow Aquatics pet store on Sunday morning.
On a train track, a male turtle named Clyde was found. Before people could see it,
the turtle was hit by a train. The turtle, which was 76 centimeters long and weighed
60 kilograms, had to be moved by four railway workers.

Clyde was hurt when a train hit him, but he was taken to the vet right away and
given care. Now, he is no longer in danger of dying. The store clerk, Dillon Perst,
thought that the turtle might have gotten away to find a friend.

The expert said, “I think he just wanted to be with women and thought
Norwich would be a good place to look.”

We’ve already written a piece about the 9 most romantic animals. Nature doesn’t
need to be made more like people, because animals act in ways that are driven by
their biology. In other words, a seagull screams not because it is swearing like
a seagull, but because it is reacting to something. But sometimes we can’t help
but think that the way birds, fish, and other animals act shows what people are thinking.
