Only after 70 years, the couple made their mind to celebrate their wedding anniversary in a unique way.
Their granddaughter is a wedding photographer and she offered her grandparents to hold a photo shoot that they could not do for their wedding.
The couple were very happy about this opportunity. Melvin put on his military uniform, and Nancy put on her wedding dress, which she carefully kept.
As you can see from the photos, they both really liked the shoot, they smiled all the time and looked at each other with the same tenderness as then.

“I kept my dress for many years because it was special to me.
I loved it.
It was very nice to put it on again and remember the wedding day and take pictures,” the woman shared.
“I am honored to be her husband,” Melvin said.

The couple had five children, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
