A large couple Kateri and Jay Schwandt from Michigan have been married since 1993 and have been dreaming of a daughter ever since, having managed to give birth to 14 sons of different ages — from 2.5 to 28 years.
Well, finally last week their 15th attempt was crowned with success and life gave them a long-awaited daughter named Maggie after 30 years, with a weight of 3.4 kg.
“The parents thought they would never have a daughter after 14 sons,” the eldest son shared.
The father was sure that one day they would have a daughter and joked that he wanted to raise a girl, because everything had been clear with boys for a long time.
“We remember this year for many reasons, but Maggie is the best gift we could have dreamed of,” the father shared.
