Solvation of a Rubik’s cube under water: a Mumbai resident set a Guinness World record

The Guinness Book of Records is full of numerous records related to the assembly of the Rubik’s Cube.

And recently another record was added to this list, set by a resident of Mumbai.

However, it was not about the classic Rubik’s cube, but about its pyramidal version.

The principle, however, is the same – to add the same color by turning the faces.

And Chinmay Prabhu (Chinmay Prabhu) was very successful in this matter.

According to the parents of twenty–year-old Chinmai Prabhu, they always encouraged his interest in puzzles.

But they could not have thought that it would reach such a scale.

Chinmai himself considers the record set a real achievement.

To do this, he had to learn to hold his breath underwater.

And if at first he barely had enough strength for 30 seconds, then at the time of setting the record, he could easily hold out under water for a minute and a half.

During this very minute and a half, he was able to deal with 9 “Pyraminx”, although he himself believed that he would have time to solve only 4 or 5 before the moment when he needed to surface.

According to him, the preparation for setting the record took 5 years.
