As the folk wisdom says: Do a good deed and throw it into the sea. Khemjira Klongsanun has two dogs and she knows well the peculiarities these animals. During the marathon, she saw a little pup on the side of the track, there were no residential buildings and people nearby. She took the puppy with her, but did not leave the race and continued the competition.
Khemjira says: “It seemed to me that this little guy was going to die. There were no buildings, no animals, no people nearby. And I picked up a puppy to take him out of a dangerous situation.”
No one intervened in this situation, since this is not mentioned in the rules of the marathon. But other participants were also interested in the puppy.
Khemjira did not finish the marathon with the best result, but this is not the most important thing.
Then she showed the puppy to the vet. After the examinations, the dog was taken to his new home. It turned out that he is not even a mongrel, but a thoroughbred dog and belongs to the Thai bangwu.
The puppy was named Chombueng – in honor of the place where the marathon took place.
