It’s not a job for the faint of heart if you want to be the mistress of an
apartment in the nation’s capital. You may find that you sometimes have to
shoo away unwelcome visitors who are attempting to sleep on your couch.
Lucy Topping, a citizen of the United Kingdom, has also been the victim of
such brazen companions, who, one evening, found a feathered pair in the living
room of her apartment in London. Not only did the pigeons arrive to Lucy’s
house without being invited, but it was obvious that they had no plans to leave.
It’s a puzzle to the investigators how these other people got to Lucy in the
first place. It was obvious that the birds were impolite. Lucy was unsuccessful
in removing the unwanted visitors. In the end, the pigeons came around to the
idea of showing Lucy some respect.
Lucy thought the birds were pigeons since she had a special cat door behind her
toilet and they resided there. Lucy does not understand why the door has to be
on the third level since the British lady lives in an apartment on the third
floor, yet it was allegedly via this door that the intruders entered her home.
Lucy must undoubtedly be on the watch; maybe the feathery gang has gone to get
reinforcements, and the next time they come back, they will have a full flock
of brothers with them!
