The fox has taken to preying on the geese, and yet she’s not afraid of the master’s dog. Where is the dog in the picture?

Well, friends, once again, we have a new puzzle for our collection. This time, it’s a visual puzzle from the series “A Peasant’s Daily Life.” Life in the village is far from easy, as there are always chores to be done. Even if you don’t have livestock, tasks like gardening, clearing snow, and stoking the stove keep you busy and don’t allow much time for relaxation.

Today’s story is about a clever fox that has been preying on the master’s chickens and geese. About a month ago, Semen Nikolaevich (the owner of the yard) noticed that some of his chickens or geese would occasionally go missing from the barn. After searching for the culprit for a long time, he finally saw through the window a fox brazenly carrying off one of his geese in broad daylight.

Semen Nikolaevich quickly realized why the fox chose to strike during the day. At night, he lets his dog off its leash to guard the house and garden, but during the day, he ties the dog up again. The fox, being quite smart, figured out the best time to sneak in for a meal.

Can you spot the dog in this picture—the one who can’t catch the fox? And by the way, doesn’t it seem like you can see the profile of the yard’s owner, Semen Nikolaevich, just above the doghouse? Take a closer look…

We’re looking forward to your answers in the comments. Let’s see if you can solve the puzzle!
