For about two decades, Luis Jimenez, a resident of the United States, served his sentence in places not so remote.
After going through a difficult life path and rethinking his actions, he decided to start a new life.
However, unfortunately, people have their own prejudices against people with a similar past and rarely did anyone meet him halfway and were even afraid to take him to work.
It was for this reason that Jimenez decided to get himself a dog, a small pit bull named Titus with whom, according to his own words, he had a similar fate.
People are wary of dogs of this breed, believing that they show excessive aggression, although this is just a stereotype, and this breed is distinguished by great loyalty and devotion.
At first, Louis and Titus had difficult times, they did not have enough money, and nobody wanted to take him to work.
They spent the night in cars, however, soon the man found a job and rented a decent apartment.
However, his troubles did not stop there.
Jimenez’s neighbor disliked the dog and therefore he was forced to walk Titus only at night.
That was until one day Louis allowed his grandson to take a walk with Titus during the day.
Then the irreparable happened and Jimenez was forced to send his beloved dog to the shelter so that he would not get the last injection, but it was too painful and he was not going to give up his best friend just like that.
He made every effort to move and, as soon as he settled into a new apartment, the very next day he went to the shelter for the pit bull.
The dog was incredibly happy about their reunion, and the shelter staff were pleasantly surprised, since in most cases the owners do not return for their pets.
