When the flight is going well, the pilots have time to chat.
Marcus said he loved cats, and his partner told him about a black and white cat named Mickey, who lives at the airport, where they were going to land.
When the pilot learned that passengers and airport employees were feeding the cat with cookies and other snacks, he was very upset, this is not the right food for cats.
He wanted to meet Mickey, but didn’t know if he could do it. Dallas has a very large airport, and if their plane is placed far from where the cat lives, it would be complicated to find it.
Fortunately, their gate was very close to where the cat had settled.
Their plane stopped in Boston, and Marcus quickly ran to the store: he bought a can of cat food so as not to meet Mickey empty-handed.
When the man saw the cat, his heart melted.
But it was time for the next flight.
Marcus called his wife and asked her to find someone she knew at the Dallas airport who could catch the cat, put it in a cage and wait for the pilot to pick it up. He had decided to adopt her.
Debbie, the pilot’s wife wrote an ad on the internet asking if there were people in Texas who would help catch the cat, take it to the vet and wait for the new masters to pick it up.
And then a series of happy coincidences began. The day before,
And thanks to coincidences soon the cat Mickey was already on his way to his new home.
It took at least two months to adapt to the new life under a roof and with loving people instead of the semi-wild life of an airport cat.
But this story is even more amazing because four years later, Connie finds another cat at the Dallas airport.
The employees had called him Milo and he was a real copy of Mickey, as black and white as if he was wearing a tuxedo.
So Connie catches him to help her find a family.
Debbie, who had adopted Mickey when she saw Milo’s picture on the shelter’s website, couldn’t believe her eyes. It looks like Milo was Mickey’s twin brother who had already become a real member of their family.
So Debbie and Marcus decide to adopt Milo too.
He is now settling into his family and trying to make friends with his new neighbor, perhaps his lost brother.
