Kazi and Shane Pruitt, a married couple from Texas, are Baptists and they believe that the family should be large and diverse. In addition to their two biological daughters, they already have two more adopted babies, but when the Pruitts decided to take the fifth child from the orphanage, everything turned so fast that it was a surprise for the rest of the children. The Pruitts had been planning to have a fifth child for a long time and certainly wanted to do it in the traditions of their religious teaching, making the orphan from the orphanage happy. They left applications and started waiting for a call, but they didn’t tell the children anything — it could take months until a positive response came, so why bother young souls in vain?
