The life of the pit bull Daiya can hardly be called happy.
She, pregnant, was spotted wandering the streets.
But the shelters were clogged then and for this reason they wanted to put the dog to sleep.
It’s good that there were caring people who decided to find a temporary shelter for the dog.
It seemed to end well, but it wasn’t.
When the dog was taken to the vet, it turned out that her puppies froze in the womb…
Urgent surgical intervention was needed, as blood poisoning was observed and the chances that the dog could survive were negligible.
The operation, fortunately, went well and Daya was discharged from the clinic soon.
However, it seems that Daiya herself was not particularly happy about the fact that she survived.
She couldn’t recover from the shock of losing her puppies and searched for any objects that reminded her of them and nursed them as if they were alive.
It was a heartbreaking sight and the dog’s foster mom was looking for a way out.
Then she found out about a tiny puppy that was picked up on the road.
It was a Zest dog with its hard fate.
Because of the infection, she was left without an eye.
It was decided to introduce Daiya to the pup.
And it turned out to be a salvation for both.
Now the pit bull and her adopted cub are inseparable.
Daiya nurses her like her own and does it with great pleasure.
