Many times, children decide to send their parents to specialized elderly care centers, either because they lack time or because it’s a straightforward way.
In reality, it’s a real pain for the parents. This story is about a family of fathers and mothers. After the father’s death, the son decided to send his mother to a nursing home due to a lack of time and patience. After placing his mother in the nursing home, the son didn’t visit her often. He received a call once, stating that his mother was sick and would die soon.
Upon hearing this, the son went to the nursing home in desperation. He tried to find out if there was anything he could do for her, to which his mother responded, “I want to install air conditioners here. Also, buy a refrigerator so that the food doesn’t spoil; that’s why we often sleep hungry.”
The son was surprised by this request and asked his mother why she hadn’t mentioned it earlier. The mother looked at her son and sadly replied, “My son, I managed to adapt to life here, in the heat of hunger; it won’t be so frightening. I’m afraid you won’t adapt to all this when your children send you to such a place in time…”
